Covid-19 Prevention Policy
Updated: May 17th, 2021
Here at Dingle Surf we take the Covid 19 pandemic seriously. We shut down our shop early to protect our staff, family and our customers, and have been abiding by all the guidelines that have been set by the government since the pandemic began. Now as we reopen again we are continuing to work tirelessly to ensure you can shop with us safely and with confidence.
New Socially Distanced Shop Layout
We operate a strict two family/friend unit in the shop at all times policy. Our store is quite small so we have implemented a new one way system. Follow the signs on the floor and you will be guided through all areas of the shop. Due to these changes you may experience wait times to get into the store. We ask for your patience and consideration and once you enter the shop that you keep your browsing to 10 minutes max.
Click & Collect
The best way to shop in this “new normal” is to buy online in advance. Everything we have is available here on www.dinglesurf.com and you’ll find a free ‘shop collection’ option at the checkout. We will immediately pack your order and let you know when its ready to collect.
Extended Returns
All online orders will benefit from an extended returns policy of 40 days so you have plenty of time to decide if it is right for you. Any items being sent back to us will be held in quarantine for 72 hours before being put back on general sale.
Our Surf School & SUP Tours
Our Surf School and SUP Tours will remain closed for the rest of 2021. We have missed all of our students, especially our Summer Camp regulars, but we feel we are not in the position to give you the hands on tuition in which you are accustomed to and we are not willing to compromise on this. We still have a large range of surfboards and wetsuits for hire. Any equipment that is hired will be properly cleaned, sterilised & quarantined before they can be used again.
Health & Safety
We are closely following all of the Government guidelines and our store will be regularly cleaned and disinfected. There will only be one person packing all orders and they will be provided with relevant and appropriate PPE equipment.
Remember:
- Wash hands properly and regularly
- Wear a mask
- Cover your mouth when coughing and sneezing
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth if your hands are not clean
You may not be able to stop the tide but by working together we will be able to crush this virus. And we can't wait to welcome you all back to Dingle Surf.
